Well, I am apart of a organization that creates companies around the web. One of our services is called "Domain Crave". I have personally have had this hosting for about 3 months now with only 1 downtime due to a hard drive error. Also, with prices starting at just 1.95 Who could not resisit?

Sounds like a great deal!

Few questions: is the box managed? who manages the updates, upgrades, installations, questions, support, etc?

Is the server hardened? I would assume so. If these questions are all yes, I'd say $1.95 is to good to be true, but heck, I may signup at that rate!!

Also, what would be the limit of shared clients on a single machine?

The box isn't managed as a update, But "on the server end, we take full control and take care of it. However, if you are looking for support for your shared hosting package that is up to you. We will offer support if its relevant to our end."

The servers are hardened to a certain extent, and the clients are about 70 to a server.

No you will have to buy a domain your self, but you do get a sub domain, via yourname.domaincrave.net for free...
