Hey...
i found out how to do a light saber in c4d

here the tut is:

Creating a lightsaber in Cinema 4D.
First, create a capsule(Objects > Primitive > Capsule). This will be the blade of the saber. It should be 1500m high/long and the radius should be 50m.

Then, we'll create a handle for the lightsaber. For this, create a Cylinder with a height of 400m and a radius of 50 meters and put it right below the Capsule, but the end of the capsule may not be seen.

Now We've got the basic shape of the lightsaber.
Now our lightsaber needs some details and materials.

First the blade of the lightsaber.
1.Create a new material.
2. Deactivate the Specular.
3. Set the color to a light green(or any other color you wish to use for the blade).
4.Tick the box next to Luminance and set the color to the same or nearly the same color you used for the color. Set the Luminance brightness to 80%.
5.Tick the box next to glow and untick "Use Material Color." Set the Radius to 50m and the Brightness to 45%. Then, use a bright and full color for the glow. I used a very full and bright green.
Pull the Material onto the Capsule.

Now the blade is done. Maybe you should test if the saber looks like you want it to look.

Now the material for the handle of the lightsaber.
1.Set the color to a very dark grey.
2.Tick the reflection box and set the color to also a very dark grey, but slightly lighter than the grey you used for the color.
Pull the Material onto the Cylinder.

Now we'll add a power button for the light saber to switch it on.
1.Create a Cylinder and set the height to 50m and the radius to 20m.
2.Create a Material with red color and pull the Material onto the Cylinder.
3.Pull the Cylinder to where it suits you so that it looks like a power button on the handle.

Voila!
Now you can add anything you want. I added some cones for the beauty. If you want further explication, just post or ask me.

Pics to come soon...

hey first of all, thanks for joining the forum...
if the cameras go weird just go to the main window and in the menu >edit>Frame Default
the it gets set back to the original thing...
your pic looks cool, although it seems as if you didnt use luminance in that pic...or u used it too few
use a lighter color, then it will look more real..

that looks great cold blood but try to make them in proportion cause the energy looks slightly too small for the lightsaber
