Kepla says 'hello' !
Hi,
I'm a newbie to graphic design, web design and computer graphics generally. I've been into photography and a bit of painting all my life and I reckon it is about time I updated myself to the newer technologies. Hopefully I've come to the right place to learn ! I have a lot of computer experience, I'm a programmer in my 'day job', but I would like to move into website design and creation - it looks as if there is a good future in it. I have to confess that I tend to favour Linux over Windows, which probably goes against the norm here, but I do enjoy the flexibility and low cost. Hope I can put something into this community as well as learn from it. Kepla.

 Good to see you. Yes, if you are looking for help in the web design / graphics, Pictual is the site. We've recently upgraded the forum to VBulletin (from PHPBB) as well as added a new look and color scheme Additionally, we've upgraded the system to support Search Engine Friendly URLs, so this should help attract new members to Pictual that have interest in learning or developing web sites / graphic design. We also have a Marketplace section on the forum where you can request to have your website, graphics or logos created by other Pictual Members, by paying them directly or launching a no-obligation "Contest" where other members can work for your requirements and you select the winning designer! Im Only !6 Give me a break....  Pablo Picasso resisted school stubbornly and seemed completely unable to learn to read or write. To other students grew used to seeing him come late with his pet pigeon -- and with the paintbrush he always carried as if it were an extension of his own body.
