Photoshop for me. Any program can be used really. It's down to what I'm used to working with in the end. For coding I usually just do it with Notepad.

fireworks is cool for something ... Imageready. photoshop illustrator flash gimp ms paint lol.

Photoshop and Dreamweaver sometimes when i do webpages .

If you are new, I advise downloading GIMP(Google it). It's a watered down version of photoshop. I do not advise purchasing Photoshop unless you intend to make money off of your products you make with it. It is queit fun to "play" with, but not $800 worth of fun. I use it in colaberation with other software, but I design comercialy. I started out doing competitive designing with GIMP.
