Well, my PC finally went kaput last night after a few years of torture. The PC is between one and two years old but has never performed to the maximum due to custom building it myself.

Last night the damn thing just switched off, and gave of a horrible smell. I thought this was strange so tried to turn on again, without luck. I then unplugged and had a look inside, moved everything around a bit to try and fix the problem. When I turn on this time, the same smell came again, but this time I could see where it was coming from. My PC was actually smoking! Straight out of the PSU was thick wisps of smoke, and so I doubt my PC will see any more action.
