Greetings everyone,
Pictual Aquired Pictual has been aquired by a professional web development firm, ILance just a few months back. We've seen the community take a big fall based on previous owner efforts, and we are now looking to bring this community back from the dead mainly due the exceptional design quality and talent Pictual members have to offer. About ILance ILance has been building interactive web development solutions for companies small and large since 2000. Our latest project, ILance Enterprise Auction Software has been extremely successful and this aquire should provide paid freelance jobs to existing Pictual Members as well as established webmasters themselves bringing you quality content about everything to do with your site, domain or script/software. The ILance software solution has been in development for the past 2 years and is based on a unique template system where the demand for new designs are obvious. As we provide a base-look and feel to our templates, many customers require more. This is where members can showcase themselves here on Pictual seemlessly including learning everything else we have to offer such as Marketing, Search Engines, Managing your Web servers, learning proper design color schemes and much more! We look forward in bringing you quality content and will continue to keep Pictual alive for many years to come. We also plan on providing existing Pictual members with incentives to help satisify this process in hopes to keep the forums active. So Why Should I Return? What Is Coming? Of course we don't expect all 1,000+ members to come back to Pictual all at once, so we plan on introducing a number of new areas of interest over time:
One problem faced with online communities would be lack of administration and/or lack of knowledge based on making things in a community happen -- quickly. If you know where I'm heading with this, you can be rest assured that Pictual Admins and staff will be very developer/designer friendly so you can feel good knowing the majority of your questions will be answered in the most professional way possible. Final Remarks No community can survive without member input. If you would like to share some thoughts on what direction you would like to see Pictual head in, we would like to hear it within the Feedback area. More news and updated coming soon! This site definately could have a lot of potential. Sadly, there doesn't seem to be any activity. Once some work is done advertising this community maybe we'll see a switch around.
